This is Arthur Kirkland. And he once was a human. The personification for England, in fact. But due to an unfortunate accident that ended with Arthur drowning (which is strange because personifications don’t die unless their countries do), Arthur has for some reason turned into a fish. A guppy, in fact. So now Arthur spends his watery days in a fish bowl, swimming around and thinking about the days when he had feet and breathed air.
Arthur Kirkland stands out as a guppy, due to the (impossible) fact the guppy has thick eyebrows, short, golden hair, and still has the ability to talk and live forever as he’s still a country. Arthur is, by nature, sarcastic, blunt and forever looking at the world with the glass half empty. He used to be a mighty empire, and being turned into a guppy has make the British gentleman look at the world with a frown.
Though it is said if you manage to make this stubborn guppy smile, something good will happen... Too bad Arthur's a total downer.
